Adan Canto Joins X-MEN: DAYS OF FUTURE PAST; Will He Play Sunfire Or Sunspot?
A new addition to the cast of Fox’s X-Men: Days of Future Past film has seemingly been outed as The Following alum Adan Canto, who took to his Twitter to announce the news and hint at his character.
With filming in full swing in Montreal, Canada, X-Men: Days of Future Past director Bryan Singer and stars Patrick Stewart, Ian McKellen, and Shawn Ashmore recently attended a hockey game in town. During the NHL event Adan Canto, who’s best known for his role on Fox’s drama series, The Following took to Twitter to announce that he’s joining the mutant ensemble cast.
Adan Canto, who has a role in the new Fox series, The Following, which also stars fellow X-Men alumni, Kevin Bacon and Shawn Ashmore, was announced to be a part of the movie while filming in Montreal.
“Thrilled to be a X-Men,” Adan Canto tweeted, including Twitter handles of Singer, Stewart, McKellen and Ashmore, as well as the hashtag #daysoffuturepast. Two weeks prior to that tweet, Canto teased, “I might turn into a ball of fire if someone pisses me off,” in response to another user of the social network requesting hints for his (then) mystery project. If Days of Future Past is the project in question, Adan Canto could be playing the Brazilian mutant Roberto da Costa, aka Sunspot, or perhaps an alteration of Japanese mutant Shiro Yoshida, aka Sunfire. It was also hinted that Canto could possibly be playing Julio Esteban "Ric" Richter, aka Rictor. Currently in the Marvel Comics, Rictor is a gay character, with Canto playing one in The Following as well. What do you think?
X-Men: Days of Future Past reunites Adan Canto with his The Following cast-mate, Shawn Ashmore. Also starring James McAvoy, Jennifer Lawrence, Michael Fassbender, Patrick Stewart, Ian McKellen, Nicholas Hoult, Omar Sy, Peter Dinklage, Fan Bingbing, Daniel Cudmore, Ellen Page and Booboo Stewart. With Hugh Jackman, Anna Paquin and Halle Berry reprising their roles as Wolverine, Rogue and Storm.
X-Men: Days of Future Past has a July 14, 2014 release date.

SEQUEL(S)
On June 10, 2013, it was announced that director Zack Snyder and screenwriter David S. Goyer would both be returning for a Man of Steel sequel, "Son of Krypton" which is being fast tracked by Warner Bros. Goyer had previously signed a three-film deal, which included Man of Steel, its sequel, and a Justice League film featuring Superman. Christopher Nolan is also expected to return as producer, albeit in a lesser role than what he had in this film.
In April 2013, Warner Bros president Jeff Robinov revealed that neither Nolan nor Bale are in involved with the film. On April 24, 2013, Snyder revealed that if Man of Steel were to be successful he would be asked to direct the film. On June 7, 2013 regarding a potential shared universe Snyder was quoted saying, “Do the DC characters exist in the universe I created? The answer is yes,” Snyder said. “In my mind, we have this fantastic character of Superman. It’s not madness that there would be others.” On June 10, 2013, it's reported that Goyer is confirmed to write the film.

Beyoncé: Life Is But A Dream (2013)
Released on February 16, 2013
Life Is But a Dream is a 2013 autobiographical television film, directed and executively produced by American singer Beyoncé Knowles. The film was released on February 16, 2013 on the HBO network, in conjunction with Parkwood Entertainment, Knowles' management company. The film uses a combination of professional camera footage, private video from Knowles' laptop and from her May 2012 4-night revue at Revel Atlantic City. Upon its release, the documentary opened to mixed reviews from critics.
Oprah Winfrey, said "Fiercely empowering. She shocked me. I was in tears. She did an amazing job. And called it “This documentary is a game changer."
New York Times television critic Alessandra Stanley gave the documentary negative reviews. "Life is But a Dream is as contrived as Madonna: Truth or Dare, but probably for good reason it is neither daring nor entirely truthful. It's an infomercial, not just about Beyoncé's talent onstage but her authenticity behind the scenes. She is a people-pleasing diva and she wants to keep it that way."
